You are here: Home / Ocean life & sailing / do it today, not next year

do it today, not next year

March 18, 2010 //  by isgar bos

Ever heard this from your colleagues: “next year I go to Europe,  next year I quit this job,  or next year I take break”.  It is always the next year, never this year, this moment. After the next year comes the next and all of a sudden there are 10 years. Ten years is a lot! You can sail three time the globe in ten years and that would give you a feeling a freedom you have never experienced before.

Kids love stars, athletes, and pop singers, because these people radiate the idea that they are doing what they want to do.  I listen to children talking everyday, the total lack of fear allows for great exploring minds.  Then I get up and do what I want to do most.  I start a new story about Wally.
